Christmas Party/Dance

Well, we had the 1st year and 2nd year Christmas Dance yesterday. It was Scottish Country Dancing. We learned quite a lot of dances. It went quite well. I was wearing this really nice dress from China, white with purple flowers and a purple ribbon. It was amazing. I also had on dark purple nail polish, some make-up, a pearl necklace, tights and 7 bracelets, sort of just different coloured metal hoops. I think I looked quite nice, and usually I look a mess, this it like the 1st time I can actually say I think I looked quite nice. For some reason I'm usually quite negative about myself, I guess that's just part of who I am. Anyway, back to what actually happened. You should know that I vowed to kill Jack R from my last entry, well for the 1st dance it was Dashing White Sergeant and me and Molly immediately picked Jack, he tried to run away but it was a bit hard to do, we'd just grab hold of him. It was so funny. But unfortunately, the plan backfired; he started to enjoy himself and was swinging us round so hard! I think my arms are dead. For some other times we picked him just to annoy him. But I ended up with my friend Chloe's boyfriends like 5 times! She wasn't there. Once it was because I was standing there and the F6 boys tried to pair me up with one of the boys and he just walked right past me! "Now that's just rude" one of them said. I thought it was quite funny actually, but then I got paired with Kier again. :( But on the bright side he is actually quite good at dancing. For one of the dances I danced with one of my friends form regi, John. He was quite good and when I tripped over he just told me to "keep twirling". He's not mean, he's really nice and I often talk to him but I thought it was quite funny, I have no idea why, I mean I laugh at weird things. We had this Elimination Waltz, where after you waltzed there would be a certain thing you had to do and things like that. I was with Jack again. We got put out when the boys had to go down on one knee, the girl had to sit on it :( put your arm around him and give him a kiss on the cheek. :( Blugh! Oh well, I never won it last year either, though last year it was because Archie was smaller than me. Yeah, for Strip the Willow Archie swung me round so hard and kept spinning after he let go, my arm is definitely dead. Luckily I didn't actually have to be his partner for anything this year; otherwise my arm wouldn't even me connected to my body anymore! But I did manage to survive 2 dances with him last year. Well basically that is it OH! For the Canadian Barn Dance, it was a non progressive one and some people were moving forwards, others weren't so it got all confusing and some girls ended up not being in the dance at all. Well I think that's all, it was a great night, but I didn't win anything, but I still had loads of fun! I can't wait till next year! =]
